Just dropped off at my front door. Spectacular craftsmanship from Tony Miller. The caps have a somewhat distressed look that add instant personality to the strop. The draw is light, fast, smooth and a little velvety. I couldn't be happier. Um yes I could......if only this combination was available in the 3" width.

Very nice. Was it Horsehide? I love the Horsehide strop I have. I only wish he offered Linen in 3".
Gabriel, I have a TM 3" horsehide on it's way to me. It replaces an old Walking Horse horsehide strop from years ago. I like the light draw of horsehide.
I also wish the linen component was available in 3". It used to be an option, but at some point Miller was no longer able to obtain it.

I know, I know! This one look to be unused. That's because it is an unused one. I don't know how many years have passed since Tony was last able to sell one with linen in the 3" version, so I guess I could start to call this one a New Old Stock!
I was very very lucky to have a friend of mine that had bought one many years ago but never used it. And to top it off, he bought it the last time Tony was selling and shipping strops to Canada. When I was speaking to him about how much I loved the Tony Miller's strops, he revealed to me that he had one that he never used so when I discovered that, I kind of harassed him to sell it to me as I told him (and it was true) that he was never gonna use it since he don't shave with a straight at all (he bought it after some research because he wanted to dive into straight but it finally never materialized). So he finally offered it to me for a reasonable price! And I am SO MUCH glad I bought it! Truly a jewelery piece in my opinion!
Hope you guys will enjoy your Tony Miller's strop!

I am certainly not an expert, but looks like his Notovan strop. I recall the Fast Bridle Hierloom strops having a waxier finish.

I had one similar and it was Horsehide Notovan. It was stamped Heirloom and did not mention Horsehide. Do you have another TM strop to compare it to? The Horsehide Notovan was thinner than his Heirloom Fast bridle.

I had one, but included in the sale of a straight to get the buyer going. I don’t remember the details of that one, but it was not the heirloom quality.
