Who needs another razor,,, probably nobody. But when something special comes out I need to share this with the shaving community and all my brothers and sisters. This Haircut and Shave Co. razor is something very special. The shave is so smooth and very efficient that it goes into my top 3 razors and I have shaved with practically everything. For the $190 price this razor is definitely definitely worth it and if you want something special to add to your collection this should definitely be the one to add.. I'm not promoting or trying to sell anything I am just sharing my honest feedback with all of you if you really want to treat yourselves to something wonderful. You can use this as an everyday shaver as well as something for many days growth. Just buy one see for yourself and enjoy . shaves to the Max[Image: 3c64d1f5e144e193efc1ebe4303d54f2.jpg][Image: ee3f17b483720e4b146fd9f01278f22f.jpg][Image: f59f897570776055b0aae334ea46c129.jpg][Image: 7666583d9f11f7998aa452797c476349.jpg][Image: d1315951c4e37b6020ef65ef17f9a5d0.jpg][Image: ac2c5170c986c1ed01c4cfdf6a0df77b.jpg]

It really is hard to describe because it has a negative blade gap and really feels different on the face than other razors. It is something that really needs to be experienced.. But I would say if anything maybe a Charcoal Goods level 2, a Timeless razor or Rocnel Elite. But still it's not fair to compare..

Are there multiple baseplates? If so, which plate are you recommending?

No multiple baseplates. And to be completely honest all you need is this one. It covers all bases for person that wants to use it every day and mild plus those who want more efficiency and it's still so smooth.

Is there any blade play/wiggle once seated? Blade alignment perfect & effortless?

Really hate spending this type of coin to have blade alignment issues.

Very very tight tolerances no blade play no issues manufactured and shaves perfectly. So smooth and efficient. I am not here to promote sales but I own every high end razor and I was very happy and extremely satisfied with how it shaves

I really like the Tatara and they are coming out with a new more aggressive razor. But if I had to choose one I would definitely get the haircut and shave

.74 blade gap
Top plate 303 stainless steel
bottom plate aircraft aluminum
handle 303 stainless steel

So many new companies making razors. Soon from Minneapolis comes Carbon Shaving and possibly another unmentionable company coming out with a new model with no dates mentioned. $200 plus seems to be the norm these days. And lets not forget Edwin Jagger soon to be released  new line of stainless steel/aluminum razors. Holy Molly
