EDIT: no longer looking for a trade, will be keeping the Titanium. But willing to pay good money for a Paradigm 17-4

Anyone who has a Paradigm 17-4 and is willing to trade for my Paradigm Titanium II?

It's not that I don't like the more expensive Paradigm Titanium but I'm more into heavy razors (Pils, Rocnell, etc ...).

I owned a Paradigm 17-4 but after loaning it to a friend who didn't return it (lost it on a trip he said) I'm looking to replace it.
If you rather sell your Paradigm 17-4 that's also good. (btw don't ask to buy my Paradigm Titanium II, trade only)

He brought borrowed LIMITED gear on a trip??? Who does that?!?!?! I don’t even bring my own limited gear on travel. Strictly replaceable items only.

Sorry to hear, I’ll keep my eyes out.

I don’t know specifics, but I thought I read somewhere that WCS was bringing in an exclusive 17-4. Once again, I’m not 100% sure about it.

Good luck in finding a replacement!

I totally agree, it is crazy to bring someone's limited razor on a trip.
When I barrow my friends' gears, I look after their stuff much more carefully than my own gear.
I just wonder whether your friend is looking for 17-4 to cover you.

I saw one 17-4 in the most popular auction site couple of days ago.
Hopefully, it has not been sold.

Good Luck

Hopefully, it has not been sold.

It auctioned for $508 (plus shipping from UK to US at an additional $25). Saw one of the Paradigm Ti 2s (like OP and I have) was picked up from the same auction price a day quicker at the non-auction list price of $500.

The trade expectation seems rather generous, but it’s a little frustrating to see people flipping the 17-4 at 2.2x retail price.

GLWT, OP! Really like the Ti 2, but hope you’re able to make the trade you desire.

thanks guys for the nice words! I was aware of the one on the bay but that's just to expensive for me, willing to pay a nice price but not $500+. Oh well if I don't find one I'll probably survive  Rolleyes .

I’m with you, there. The Ti2 is a crazy-good razor, though. I’m hoping you are able to make the trade happen.

I’ve been lucky enough to own quite a few knives and pens which are frequently sold for ~2x their retail prices, and I really dislike the common practice of selling for such profit. I usually elect to sell at exactly 75% RRP within quality, less populated groups.

That said, it might be worth it for you to sell your Ti 2 for ~$500 and pick up a 17-4 with the funds if there are no bites. I’m sure you’d have no problem accomplishing this, if it were your goal.

I'm not into selling for a profit, If I don't find a trade or someone who is willing to sell their 17-4 I'll just keep it and move on. That said I'm willing to pay good money for the 17-4 within reason, but. not $500.
