Many of you have been wondering about the ordering process for the Paladin Seven Samurai Select Badger Brushes. The plan is for me to meet Ken for dinner this Sunday in Riverside, California where he will deliver the brushes to me in person. He is driving from Kansas so, please keep in mind that weather and/or mechanical delays are always a possibility. If everything goes smoothly, the brushes will become available for purchase on my website on Monday, May 20th.
The Seven Samurai brushes are actually up on the site right now but, they show as being sold out. Do not panic...they simply are not available yet. If anyone is interested in buying a complete set (one of each color), please contact me via PM or through my website prior to Monday, May 20th.

I'd be interested as well. Hopefully the post time communication will not be limited to Twits or Facebook users when the remainder of the brushes go live .. can't imagine they will take long to sell out ..

I had not really thought of setting a time. Part of the issue is Monday itself is tentative and is dependent on Ken being in California on Sunday. He is driving and weather and/or mechanical delays are a possibility.

Ken would have to answer this but, my understanding is the resin is from the same supplier (and is the same resin) that Simpson used in the Somerset era

Per Ken on 5/14/19:
Each of the handle materials used to make the Paladin Seven Samurai, Bullgoose Shaving, Tenth Anniversary LE brushes was produced in Italy and sourced from England. Paladin Somerset is the same polyester resin (produced by the same manufacturer and sourced from the same supplier) that was used to make Carter-Woodhouse era Simpson’s Somerset brushes and also Rooney Heritage shaving brushes with handles referred to as ivory through 2012.
