Just curious if anyone's ever come across a soap (or cream) that is a straight up vanilla scent? Not mixed with another scent(s). No Sandalwood Vanilla, Amber Vanilla, etc., etc., etc. After trying hundreds of soaps/creams/sticks, I just can't recall ever seeing one. Would be interested in trying one, if it's out there.

I'm a huge vanilla fan. I find that Stirling Barbershop is mostly vanilla and it's why I absolutely love that soap. The only other scent I get from it is baby powder. That and amazing performance. I'm on the hunt for more vanilla scented soaps but I dislike the sweet versions. Haven't really come across a sweet vanilla scent in any shaving products yet.

Not fair, there’s only 14 tubs of it lol
Someone was kind enough to send me a rather large sample. I split that with another buddy, and only tried it once. It was nice but wasn't too into it, so I put it in the sample pile. I went back to find it to give to someone else who was very interested in trying it, but it smelled off. I can't put my finger on what it is it smells like now, but it isn't vanilla lol. I have no idea what happened, oh well *shrug

West Coast Shaving sells a soap made for them by Tallow and Steel called Orangeilla, a combo of vanilla and orange. It is one of my favorite scents but it was not at all what I expected. It is mostly astringent vanilla like vanilla from a bottle of extract of vanilla. Just a hint of orange. Not at all sweet. Not a creamsicle. WCS is out of stock but you may be able to find it on the secondary market.

Interesting........I also did find a Mama Bear Soaps "Vanilla Cream" that I thought I'd try - it's en route.
That'd be where I'd go - I remember having some of this at one time. Let us know what you think.

When I read ARGH's post about the Vanille LE I immediately went online to see if I could find some. I came up totally empty. Anyone know where you can find it?

I don't think you can find it online. It was a very limited release that was not advertised on this forum.

Thanks for all the suggestions, gents. I did receive the Mama Bear "Vanilla Cream" but haven't given it a test lather yet. The scent straight off the stick smells quite "vanilla-ie" - kinda sweet. Will be interested to see how it is once lathered.

Glad to see this thread. I've always liked the scent of vanilla. Looked around in the past and couldn't find a straight up vanilla scent to add to my rotation.
Always assumed that King of bourbon was a bourbon scent and never really liked boozy scents very much. So I never read the description or paid any attention to this soap until now.
