Great photo, but it looks to me like the saturation might have been bumped (or some other filter applied). I know Cody's phone is setup to enhance shots he takes. Our photos are about as close to accurate as we can make them. That said, what appears on other displays, in different lighting, etc. is bound to vary, sometimes dramatically.

Here is the unadulterated photo.

Honey Noire just arrived.  Still wish I also go a Neptune.  If any of the 7 seven owners of a Neptune Samurai are interested, I am offering $170 cash for one.

Loved the color, wish it was painted black instead of grey or I would have picked this...

We have to make choices. Black tends to disappear against black.

Thank you Barry.  I'm familiar with this bowl, and yours has exceptional grain.  It goes great with your new Samurai.

indeed, but you don't get much more Japanese than black Kanji, aesthetic is in the eye of the beholder Wink

I didn’t take it as critical. Just showing the reference. It looks like Japanese lacquer on the shelf in my bathroom. Beautiful.

After the Graphite #1 and #10, here come the number #2

Beautiful beautiful and stunning brush!

This is my first Paladin and I'm more then quite impress, I'm blown away by it!

You guys (Ken, Pam and Cody) have done a terrific job. Congrats on that wonderful project that was quite a journey based on what I have read!

And after the first use :

For the first use of my Paladin  Graphite LE #2/10 brush, I stayed in the same theme. I used my stainless steel Paladin Stork 90mm (that I received today, so first use too). And I took my Grooming Dept TAO that I received today also, so first use too). And I use a Titanium scrapper that I made with a friend of mine last week-end and guest what, it was my first time using it also!
