Gentlemen,  Nancy and I've just released a small number of new BSSW brushes to The ReadyMade Collection. We show a few here to showcase our upgraded photo setup--but you can see the full offering here.

P.S.  As you can see, we're playing with a couple slightly different backgrounds and would love to hear your thoughts pro or con.

P.P.S.  The "chatter marks" your see on the last brush are actually reflections of the burlap!  These handles are so reflective, they pick up everything. Tongue

Brushes look great!!

Photos are all very good but I don’t need the burlap.
Just my opinion.

That Arley is really an attractive brush.  I prefer the all black backdrop, but the burlap is not bad either.

Thanks much for sharing your thoughts, gentlemen.  The Black has it.

That said: three new ReadyMade M&F brushes came in with the last batch from Lee.  There're now listed in The ReadyMade Collection--two 2XL's and a 24mm Finest Badger Emillion.

Really nice. I can't believe that Emillion hasn't sold. The temptation is killing me.

Has the Arley grown taller over time? I would say that the lower part of the handle appears to be a bit taller on newer brushes.

Yes, it has by roughly 2-3mm depending on socket size.  I find the increased height makes Arley easier to hold-at least for me.  At the same time, part of what you're seeing in these photos comes from the higher camera angle I used to try to minimize reflections off the new metallic gold ink.

That said:  one of the beauties of the manually- (v. computer-) controlled lathe is that we can easily modify dimensions to suit individual preference.  Bottom line:  "your wish is my command!"  Biggrin

Thanks Brad. Beautiful brushes as usual. When my L7 gets in I may have to add one of these ready made beauties.
