Excellent! Great to hear.

1st WOW to Phil and his team.  Order razors and a couple other things on Saturday afternoon my time on US right coast (Phil is on left coast, over 3000 miles away) and here it is Monday morning my time and I've got my delivery from Bullgoose with my razors and other stuff.  OUTSTANDING.

2nd WOW is opening the razors - just beautiful.  Added a couple of my favorites to the pictures but they're really not needed - these razors are really that nice.

Very nice! Have you used either of them yet?

Yes, used the Aggressive last night to shave with Baum.BE shave cream and PolSilver SI blade, 2 passes - WTG, XTG and ATG on neck. Was a very good shave, felt the squeegee effect on parts of my cheek. Not quite as close as I'm used to with some of my straight razors but better than others and a better blade may help with that. Plus I need to get used to using these. No irritation at all, alum block over face after shave and no sting.  Used to a fair amount of sting following straight razor shave.  Will try with Kai or Feather blade next to compare shaves.

Here are a couple comparison pics of the new Elite A and the Elite 1.95 and a couple pics of my entire Rocnel collection. I have already put a different handle on the new Elite as I have always liked longer handles. I have owned a couple others but sold them over the years. None of my Rocnel razors are on their original handles and they are laid out in order of purchase from the most recent to the down to the oldest.[Image: 95ec075a6e6fb5f1552e3d468cfa7005.jpg][Image: 56be4a38b2ad0d9d29c709ad85c31b0a.jpg][Image: 881c5ed6e4c369644844dca8c37e2547.jpg][Image: c06aa7607544f0970cee4e54c9678acd.jpg][Image: 1c6c0c0a90d9f15ddd308717c683b4ac.jpg]

Shaved this afternoon with the A version and all I can say is WOW! Used the same Feather blade that I used for the first time day before yesterday in the Elite 1.95 and the new A 2.10 has the same smoothness but dials up the efficiency. The 1.95 is highly efficient in my humble opinion but the new A version has the same efficiency as my top 3 razors, Wolfman WR2 1.25 DC, Charcoal Goods L3 DC and Karve F plate OC. I know that is saying a lot and my final judgement will be how my face feels tomorrow this time but this one is an absolute keeper![Image: 9fa94abe8fe3bbc252889b1bd8cfd789.jpg]

I used the new 2.1mm this morning and it was an amazing shaver. I may be wrong, but to me, it’s smoother than the 2.1mm that was available by special order, direct from Rocnel. I LOVE the redesigned head and handle on this one.

Interesting thing is the top cap is exactly the same as my 1.95. I swapped them to see if it would fit and it fit perfectly.

Still doing the face feel test today after my shave yesterday early afternoon and I put the efficiency of the new Elite A neck and neck with my Wolfman WR2 1.25. This is just my OPINION so don’t destroy me over it! I think this razor is outstanding and the actual smoothness of the Shave with a Feather blade was insane! Anybody else shave with it yet?

I used the M version today and it was quite good. I would agree that it is a mid-aggressive razor--efficient with little blade feel, which is my preference. It looks great and the engraving on the inside of the top cap and base plate is something I haven't seen before.  Really nice work.

I saw the matching serial number on the top cap this morning. Nice touch!

Think it’s on the opposite side of the base plate too from the M or A. Mine says S05.

Had to go back for another spin just to make sure that my observations were correct and I have to say that my earlier observations were spot on!! This razor is absolutely amazing! This time I used the same Feather blade that I used on the first Shave with it a couple days ago. 3rd use of this blade and still extremely sharp! The feedback noise on this razor is like a hi resolution jazz album. Once again, I’m feeling my face and in awe at the closeness of the shave. This new Elite is the shiiiiiiiznit!!!!

Very compelling review....intrigued...anything approaching the 1.25WR2 gets my attention.

Wonder if you could try it with some other blades and let us know if your impressions still hold.

I worry about having to use a feather all the time...its not my favourite blade.
Nacets, pol silver, Gillette platinum, 7 o'clock green is my rotation.

Thanks!

Over the coming weeks I will try it with a PolSilver and a Voskhod. The only DE blades I use are Feathers, PolSilvers and Voskhods. I need to try the Nacet blades if I can find them. I have a huge collection of the 3 brands I use and I have a bunch of Astras and a bunch of others that I never use.
