Wondering if they are as sharp and smooth as the modern polsilver super iridium blades that are unfortunately going out of production.
They are made in Russia. They are not a vintage ....

I use the Wizamet in blue and silver box, I feel they’Re smoother than PolSilver for me.

Fake news, unless someone can present real proof.Well, the Polsilver main sales site has quit wholesale sales and is stating flatly on their site that production has stopped.
Moreover, I can no longer find Polsilvers on Amazon except in very small quantities and at prices per blade that are double normal.
That might be temporary, but it is consistent with the Polsilver statement.

This site has nothing to do with Gillette or pol silver from a manufacturing standpoint as far as I know.
Wizamets have been out of production for a long time and are still recently available for 40 bucks for 250 blades. I think they’ll be around for a long while.

Agreed - I was just referring to the Polsilver wholesaler's site. Can't post the link but it's the name & dot com. But true, not affiliated.
But the fact remains that he, who once sold Polsilvers in quantities of 50 to 10,000, no longer sells more than 100 at a time due to dwindling supply. I'm sure the same is the case with Wizamets. And while once I could get as many 100 cnt cartons of Polsilvers on Amazon as I wanted (price varied from $22 to $30, depending), I can only find the 5-blade and 50 blade offerings now - the latter being double the cost per blade as the 100 cnt used to be.
So something's going on...

There was a guy on the popular auction site that had them for a while, and there is also a site by a guy in Spain that used to have them. They've pretty much dried up. There may or not be someone else with a stash to sell, but I wouldn't count on them showing up for sale very often.

Guys, are we discussing about Polish or Russian blades?
