Yes, I was literally going from one subforum to the next, trying to figure out where to post it. There is no easy answer, so it's here. Most likely I will update already existing threads in the corresponding subforums latter.
Since I can hardly contain my excitement, I have to say, I had an incredible shave. I mean, I don't have "bad" shaves anymore, but today was out of this world. Why? I will never know, since I broke a well known rule "change one variable at a time". I have changed it all!

The soap
In the quest to find a P.160 replacement, Brian have sent me a sample of 3P to test and in turn, he will be testing TFS Barbe Rosse sample that I have sent to him.
For that test I have used my most lather-hungry chubby 2 brush and Roberts scuttle. Result: exceeded my expectations! The soap is great and very close to P.160 in performance, I will shave tomorrow with P.160 just to compare it head to head.

The razor
If anyone remembers my R41 thread, with me trying to like it and it wasn't going too smoothly. Well... There was one person that shall remain nameless Wink, that kind of talked me into keeping it and trying it latter. I did just that, but I have put a Tradere handle on it and loaded it with fresh Polsilver SI blade. Result: 2 days growth, 2 pass BBS with very little clean up. Exceeded my expectations!

Aftershave
I am not a stranger to KFBR, I stand by my opinion that this is the best bay rum product on the market today. BUT menthol is not something that I use regularly, I do use 444 mixed with other AS but 444 is very mild and blast last a few seconds. When I've heard that my beloved BR was going to get a DOUBLE strength menthol additive, I was less than enthusiastic, but being limited run and all, I got a bottle (2 of 20), thinking that this will go on BST after my first shave. I couldn't be more wrong, I love it! After initial menthol blast, which is not overpowering at all, the real scent develops and at the same time, face starts to feel warm and moisturized. Result: exceeded my expectations! You are the man, Brian!

Final result: faceturbating today tripled! Biggrin

For right now this is as good a place as any to post a multiple review like this. A friend is sending me a Chubby 2 and Plisson HMW to try and I can't wait for that experience. Fortunately I have some P.160 left that will last a while in my rotation. If Brian still has some of the menthol left, I may have to try some. I love his regular Bay Rum.

Glad you found that magic combination.

Hi beartrap,

we'll have the whole 'where to place reviews' issue fixed up in a few weeks once we have our product review system in place and ready for usage.

Biggrin

That should be good Andrew! I am sure we'll fill that section up with YMMV in no time Biggrin

That's what we hope!

Aside from that, it'll keep all reviews centralized instead of all over the place like they are now.

The brush is huge! It's the fattest brush I have, I love using it with creams and in rare occasions that I use a bowl or scuttle Biggrin

I'm glad you like it Steve!

I'm still tickled everytime someone says that they like what I make. I hope I never lose that feeling.

For the sake of others, I hope you will make another run of "80 below". I am sure none of those 20 will ever make it to BST Wink

Well you never know! Winky

Someone could offer it along the same pricing strategy as a 1kg block of P.160. Makes sense as the most expensive soap in the world needs a most expensive AS in the world to compliment it. Quality abounds here.

It's doable, but I just prefer smaller (up to 24mm) brushes for that.
