This photo, on the home page of our local county library, caught my eye because the sweater that the boy is wearing has the same pattern as one I wore when I was a teenager, over 50 years ago. I always thought of it as my Andy Williams sweater. (I guess I was really uncool, because I liked the music of Andy and of Perry Como back then.) Are sweaters like this making a comeback??

I think you're right. I don't have any Argyle socks right now, but I remember seeing some for sale in a department store not too long ago.

I wore both pullover and button up sweater vests occasionally when I was working . My work required, or rather it was wise, wearing a suit and tie or along those lines. Exactly what depended on the clients I was seeing that day. It's up to the wearer to make what you're wearing "cool". You dig?
