I agree. However, sounds like the polishing has been improved since the initial release, which is a really nice step taken that was not asked for.

Since the comments are on my razor...I wanted refocus everyone on what I said above...this razor was a factory second, and perhaps the uneven tool marks are the main reason it was a factory second.

I only paid $189 for it. The marks on the underside of the cap have zero affect on the shave, and cannot be seen when fully assembled.

My razor, was not $250.

Extremely happy! I feel like it was a tremendous deal, and even if I paid 250...the tool marks on the underside of the cap wouldn’t bother me in the slightest.

I absolutely love my Carbon razor. It has a nice blade feel. What would you guys compare this razor to with the Karve plate? E plate?

It’s hard to compare because they’re completely different designs. The Carbon is more blade forward and the Karve has a significantly larger gap. I have a Carbon and I had a Karve F and D plate. The Carbon is smoother. The Karve F plate is more efficient. I can’t remember the efficiency of the D plate, but I think the Carbon is more efficient than the D plate, so the E is probably correct from an end point perspective, but they will feel different getting there.

Matt, why did our lather Shots thread get frozen? Tried to post a Pannacrema brush centerfold with no luck. Moderator? What is that? Our pics are too sexy?

Hi Tommy! Perhaps try again...Joe just posted a few hours ago. I want to see that beautiful centerfold! Luckily my Nuavia soaps haven’t turned yet!

A real nice shave with the Cx-Ti. Lightweight, smooth and fairly efficient as one can get a good 3 pass shave & BBS results. Real easy shaver to get along with.
