I would agree. I keep mine in a cabinet, too, and I leave one of the doors open all the time (flat against a wall), so that the brushes can breathe.

My stuff is all neatly stacked and arranged on the top of a high dresser, other than my shave of the day stuff and 3 tubs of soap/cream and 3 samples. I find myself walking over to my den, gazing at the shiny razors, checking out the brushes, sometimes rubbing them on my face, checking out my bowls, and opening the soaps and creams and aftershaves to sniff them. Sometimes I'll find myself even having a conversation about my next shave with the group. They always seem to agree with me. Wait. What's that sound? Sirens. Darn it all. Those men in the white coats are coming to take me away again. Hee hee, hah hah, ho ho.
