I dont usually write about prototypes , but this time Im going to make an exception.

This is the prototype for the Semogue Limited Edition brush from 2010.That brush was released with a selected silvertip (premium silvertip , basically) which is a pleasure to use.If you have a Semogue LE 2010 , you know what Im talking about : for many , is the best brush Semogue have released with badger hair and Im totally in agreement with that statement.

I simply hope that Mr Gomes could get more of this selected silvertip and put it on handles like this one or the white color version.

Wont say anything else , but hopefully , that would happen soon enough.

From all the Semogue's prototypes I have tried (quiet a few , I must say ) this have been my favorite , and the Caravela and TSN brush , on second place.

I think that Semogue could offer a very serious contender if they decide to introduce this brush on the market and fingers cross , they will do (until today , no news regarding that since its not easy to find the selected silvertip hair and Mr Gomes doesn't want to introduce a brush with "lower standards" ) when the chance arises.Lets hope that this chance could be in the next year. That would be "awesome"!Biggrin

That handle is so cool, I would love a solid black acrylic handle Semogue. What a beautiful brush!

Well, I have one of the 2010 LE brushes Teiste refers to and I can agree with everything he has said. That black handle is nice and the clear and white handle is nice, but the handle does not make the brush. The silvertip hair that was used in these brushes is something else. Right now it is my favorite badger brush.

It sounds like Tieste, Bruno, and Sr. Gomes have some very intersting and exciting new Semogue brushes in the making. That's music to the ears of all of us avid Semogue fans.

I want one of those so bad I am willing to give up the 09' LE for one. That black handle is interesting how they changed to the production clear and white. That general Semogue handle shape is fantastic for face lathering, thwe fingertips just fall right in place.

I wonder what is so special about the hair and why Mr. Gomes cannot procure more of it?

Granted, the regular silvertip is not on my list of favorite hairs.

Because it's the softest silvertip I've ever tried. No wonder the LE2010 is now a legendary brush.

Because it's rare and we can't use it in the regular production line.

Here's hoping for a 2013 or 2014 TSN LE with selected silvertip!

I love Semogue Heart

I'm seriously thinking about trading or selling some of my badgers to get another SOC Boar. I would jump at the chance for a 2010 LE or one of these if the chance ever arised.

I am keeping 7 brushes. 5 of which are Semogues. I'm still on the hunt for a 2011 LE #2 but I'd make room for an 8th if these were released again.

I think we would all like to make room for a brush such as this. Kindly keep us posted.

The LE10 is a fantastic badger brush. The knot is among my very favorites. Very much looking to see it making a comeback.
