The Asylum Evolution razors have been discontinued and stock is limited. Many customers claim that this modern remake of the 1930's era Darwin razors shaves better than the original. If you have had your eye on one, you better act now. Only 14 razors remain split evenly between the Polished Stainless Steel Evolution and the Polished Brass Evolution XL

Yes. I agree. The Asylum Evolution is an excellent shaver. I presently have a black oxide and XL versions, and also had a polished SS version (which I sold to fund another purchase). Both Evolutions are regulars in my rotation. The shaves are close and smooth. Balance and heft are just right. 2 pass DFS-BBS shaves are the norm for me. Although I never experienced a Darwin, I can attest to the awesome shaves I get from the Asylum Evolutions. When they are gone you’ll kick yourself in the ass for not acting more quickly. Buy yours now!

Just used the black oxide Evo. Another great shave. Close and smooth.
For the guitarists among us... shaving with the Asylum Evolution reminds me of playing a 12 string guitar. Learn how to make it work and you’ll be rewarded with sparkling awesomeness. It wants to be used and is willing to give up its secrets for those who are willing to put in the effort to learn how to get the most out of it. Once you can do that consistently you’ve got a friend for life.

Yes, the Model T is gone forever. I may have some unpolished T base plates in both stainless and brass. I will check when I am back in the shop.

That was my question, too, and I was afraid that would be the answer.

We are concentrating our efforts on revising the Asylum Rx and eventually adding an injector sized version.
