I have a OB 0239 which I know is V1.......you can send a e-mail to the company ...i,m sure they could help you.
I did online CS service support. According to Oneblade they cannot go by serial # . Asked for me to upload pictures of the razor side view of head , after looking at it he typed back it was a V2. I'm reselling it and want to make sure it is V1, the person interested in buying it told to make sure it is V1. Is there a database for Oneblade I can look at?

Yours is a V1. V2 started around the S/N 4000 mark and they had quality problems around the 3400-4000 serial numbers from everything I ever read.
Having tried both razors and did a ton of research about modifying a GEM blade to fit both razors I can comment as follows. There is no visible difference in the razors and the only changes were minor to material and to make then V2 interior design be different enough that a GEM despined would not so easily fit inside it.
A V1 can take a despined GEM without further modifications to the GEM blade. A V2 needs to have some modifications still done to the GEM Blade beyond taking off the spine so that additional parts of the blade are cut off near the holes on the sides so they line up similar to an FHS-10 blade and clicks when going into place when inserted.
The easiest way I found out to do it was lay an FHS-10 on top of the GEM to get an idea about where the GEM holes needed to be cut/enlarged. I even went so far as to buy a metal hole punch kit so that the hole I created was the exact size of the FHS-10 blade. With a little practice it was easy to do.

I think they must be confused if you did not include a serial number. I did an obnoxious amount of reading across all shaving forums to learn about v1 and v2 and everything I ever saw mentioned that somewhere near to SN 4000(without a firm number) they switched to v2 and all confirmations were taken from OB at that time. It would be nice if an official statement from OB would come out announcing exactly which serial numbers started v2.
However, they probably wont do that as there were quality issues somewhere just in the vicinity of 4000 before the v2 came out which caused wavy blade issues and that could start folks looking more intently at their razors based on SN.
