Those who attended the game said it was extremely emotional to see the entire bowl of the stadium turn red, white and blue. It took 90 workers two weeks to get all of the colored pages mounted under each seat.

Each piece of card board had eye slits in them so the fans could hold up the colored sheet and watch the proceedings through the eye slits.

Lambeau Field

This is what ESPN failed to show you Monday night, 11/14/2011. Apparently, they thought their commercials were more important than showing this scene for about 5 seconds.

Johnny- Thanks for sharing, that's awesome! I have a handful of veterans and active duty friends and family that I will share this with.

Sad it wasn't shown on National TV, but not surprising.

Wow, that is impressive! You can see money is more important for the networks.

Surely impressive. A shame that they don't show that on TV.

It's too bad they didn't show that. It's a nice tribute.

Doesn't ESPN get it? Who do they think paid the price for our right to watch the game? Who do they think paid the price for their journalistic freedom, so that they can cover the game and broadcast it on a network not owned by or controlled by the government (with programming limited to propaganda)? That price was paid by the men and women of the United States Military. Period. ESPN should be ashamed of themselves.

I just want to say thanks Johnny.

I don't even want to go where I'm thinking.

How cool that must have been.

In more ways than one. Lambeau Field in November can get quite chilly.

The least ESPN could have done was show a replay once they came back from commercial.
