Wire EDM machines are extremely precise and very expensive. They are capable of machining highly complex shapes that typical CNC equipment cannot replicate. Does anyone know which manufacturers use Wire EDM technology to machine their razor heads?

If I am not mistaken, Timeless use wire machine for their stainless and titanium razors and CNC for their bronze one. I am telling this based on memory only and cannot verify it at the moment, but I am pretty sure about this.

Someone can confirm?

That would make sense. Looking at the lather channels on a Timeless SS or Titanium head... Extremely complex machining.

You are correct. They brought examples of the process to the Maggard’s meetup
