It was a gorgeous sunny day here today, so my wife and I drove down to the local Alki Beach area and strolled along the beach.  We saw some interesting shops and houses, including a couple of adjacent homes that have gone crazy with their flower displays.

And while driving home I saw this barber shop sign and had to get a picture of it.  "Hmmm... yes... the psychic barber knows what kind of shave and haircut you want."

He knows what kind of shave and haircut you want yes, but can he do it is the important question.

Alki beach is a fun, quirky spot - a nice change from Seattle proper (which is also nice, just in different ways).
Interesting story around the name:

https://westseattleblog.com/2009/12/meet...eed-a-cut/

Quote:You’ve probably laughed, driving along California SW [now moved], when out of the corner of your eye you caught a glimpse of two white neon signs next to each other: “Psychic” “Barber.” That reaction was partly by design; after a psychic moved in next door to Rick’s Barber Shop, Rick had a matching white neon “Barber” sign made by the same person who created the “Psychic” sign.
...
In fact, when the psychic business dissolved and the sign went dark, people complained to Rick: “You’re just a barber now, you’re not the Psychic Barber.” So when the landlord offered the sign to Rick, he took it.
...
Asked about the future of barbering, Rick concedes that it’s “a dying breed,”
