Claus, that's a great collection of top tier cartridge razors.  Thanks for sharing.  Do you use the Fusion and Mach 3 interchangeably, or do you have specific uses for each one?

I never mentioned I would own all cart razors. I also think the Acqua Di Parma is missing from my collection, but I already owned this and sold it.

I have space for 12 cart razors and that’s the absolute max I want to own.

Same with badger brushes. Used to own 100+ top high end badgers, now down to 10 badgers.

How about displaying your own collection instead of trying to point out the razors you feel is missing from my collection?

Thanks !

When in a hurry I shave with a Mach 3 for one day stubble and Fusion 5 for several day stubble.

But for my normal routine I use my Fusion 5 for the first pass and Mach 3 for the second and last pass.

Good-looking set of handles. Very reminiscent of nice pens as displayed.

Claus, I was unaware that cartridge razors could look so sophisticated. I’m afraid I have nothing to share except a new Trac II, so I won’t even waste your time with it. But, wow! Those are some fine looking handles. I like the silvery-black one on the left quite a bit.

Hey Claus,

I really didn't mean to be offending by any mean and wrote you a (long) pm to correct this situation.

Sorry about it!

Have a nice day,

Regards,

Nice collection. Mach 3 is my favorite cartridge.  I have a standard older handle that I'd like to update now that I think of it. Never tried a Fusion 5, how do you like it? I switch to a 2 blade Atra (or Trac II) for the moustache area. The standard Atra handle that I bought 30-something years ago is still a favorite for weight, balance & feel.

The Pils handle really looks great !!

I have an Edwin Jagger Mach 3 handle.  Had Amazon not sent me some really defective or counterfeit Gillette cartridges, I would never have tried DE shaving.

I also have an Edwin Jagger handle for my Mach 3.  The faux ivory one.  I bought it when my wife bought me an Art of Shaving kit that had a small travel size pure badger brush, some pre-shave oil, shaving cream and post shave balm in sandalwood.  That kit put me on the path to double edge razors.  But I was too afraid to try a double edge so I used the stuff with my Mach 3 and wanted something a little more "upscale" to use with my new toys and that amazing scent.   One thing I'll say though.  These are just handles, not razors.  The razor is the Mach 3 or Fusion or whatever cart you happen to use with it.  And no matter how nice that handle may be, it's still a Mach 3 or Fusion or whathaveyou.  I only use mine when I'm traveling and carrying on bags.  Otherwise I'll use a double edge.
