Yes, it’s extremely difficult to capture the depth of any of the shell scales even with good light, camera and lens. Each time you move at a different angle the light diffuses the depth differently. Glad to hear you like it. Some pitting and stains had to remain as it would have meant losing the engraving on both the hollow grind and tang. Have fun shaving!

Unless you want to have a couple of days of growth before trying it, having this gem and not using it require some patience skills!

Yes...I had to shave this morning with a safety razor. I had a meeting and needed a BBBS vs a DFS, and since I am just starting back I didn’t want to risk looking like Capone with a sliced face!
