Edwin Jagger Lady's STF brush for my wife. She's been using a 24mm brush she stole from me but she's been complaining that the handle is to short.

Man, that takes me back. That stuff was all the rage in the early-mid 80's. I remember impressing chicks with Kouros Smile

In spite of my first try being a disaster I decided to give vintage blades one more go. We'll see how these work.

Very nice haul.
Between the two B&M scents, do you have an initial preference? I have the Gothique soap and splash en route and pondering over the other.

Grab it. Period!

I just have finish my first shave 5 minutes ago with the Fougère Angélique set. It is an AWESOME scent. Altought both set share quite a few of the same note, and I can notice what they have in common, their scent are completely different. My girlfriend really despised the Gothique one. Just opening the jar at a couple of feet from her and she immediately says that it stink and smell like garbage, but she truly enjoy the Angélique version as she opened the jar a couple time to take a sniff.

I can understand that the Gothique one would be a polarizing scent as it is a real dark heavy fougère, with an intense black ashes, leather , vetiver and mushroom scent, event tought I really like it a lot.

On the other hand the Angélique one with the Lime, lemon, neroli and lavender is a really fresh and easily accesible type of fougère. To my nose, it feel more well blended as I have a hard time distinguishing a clear note from the blend even tought you can smell the freshness that come from the previous mentionned notes. As for the Gothique one, I easily can pick up the ashes, the woody and smoky note along with the mushroom one at least.

I highly recommend that you buy yourself an Angélique set. Even tought I like them both and even if I would put my girlfriend's appreciation of those scents aside, I think I would go more frequently for the Angélique one then the Gothique one.

Thank you for a most detailed response. I'll grab a set although the AS appears to be on a pre-order despite showing 156 in stock. Hmm.

They had an issue with the production, reason of why to put it in Pre-order. The rest of the splash you see in stock should be shipped in a week or so.

Glad you bought a set and I hope you'll enjoy it.

Give us some feedback from both set in the near future, I would appreciate it!

As for the detailed response, I just cannot make a short answer. I tend to go into a lot of detail in my life in general, wet shaving is no exception!

H&S N075. Looks great. Sides of the head look unpolished but that's about it. A Gillette Old Type OC razor, as well as an additional handle to use with other razor heads, both from Cooncat Bob's Razor Works and both in what appears to be amboyna burl, arrived.  The wood is beautiful.  They'll go into my rotation right away.
