Well I bought another Wacker Jungmeister off of eBay, and it was supposed to be a 7/8, but it is clearly a 6/8.  So my gentlemen’s set...isn’t exactly a set!

You can definitely tell the 7/8 in the big brother little brother pair.  The seller was mistaken...no big deal, and truth be told I would have offered the same for a 6/8.  So live and let live!  I am going to thoroughly enjoy the 6/8 Jungmeister tomorrow!

Bahahahah! I was so tempted! That’s a real beauty congrats on that Gabe!

So the guy just made a mistake on this one and the bottom line is I am super happy with the razor and the price I bought it for...plus he offered my money back, but I like the razor so much I said no worries!

I am sure you will be happy Joseph...I mean Gabe!

Matt, you may start to appreciate the 6/8 once you use it.  I generally prefer 7/8.  However, I find that on parts of a shave, the 6/8 is more maneuverable.  I haven't used a 5/8 for about 10 years, and I'm contemplating trying one again.

Yes...I agree...I actually really like 6/8 razors! So I am happy, and will really enjoy it I am sure.

If you want to borrow or buy a 5/8 straight, let me know. I have a few that I bought to get back into the swing of things! Now they won’t see too much use moving forward!

BTW Steve! You NEED some Wackers! They are absolutely wonderful straights, and of the six I have, the Old Sheffield razors are at the top of the heap!

You and me both! I am buying some Sebum Gold products, and they aren’t inexpensive!

That being said, cost per use is negligible since a bottle of the serum should last 250+ uses, and the soap comes in 7 oz jars. I view em as somewhat similar to Martin De Candre, though no soap that I know of has the longevity of MDC!

Don’t get into Dior serums, lol. L’Or Vie...

Well, it does make Sebum look cheap.
