Are there different variants of Gillette Nacet blades? Or, are there different countries producing these razors that create varying differences in the Nacet blades?
Here's why I ask: I used Nacet's from a sample pack and they blew me away by how smooth and sharp they were. Just amazing.
I then purchased 50 of them from Amazon and I don't get quite the same smoothness.
If there are variations, which would you prefer?

I'm sorry, but I can't help. I've used them for a couple of years, have purchased them a few times from different sources, and the ones I've gotten have been consistent and very good. Did you make any other changes at the same time that you went to the new batch of blades (like a new razor or soap that you've never used before)?

Got more time now. Nacet is a great blade and the one I like is Nacet Stainless out of St Petes? There is another Nacet out there made in China and labeled super Nacet and it is supposedly platinum coated. I know nothing about that one except a couple of guys I trust state liking the st. Pete stainless Nacet better but report both of them as good.
