If I knew more I would share. Yes, it is very nice and I assume the price tag will match the beauty.

If you mean beautiful razor, beautiful price then I will be all over this one.

If you mean beautiful razor, high price then no thank you. The same reason I stay away from ikon, tradere, ufo, etc...

I'm really hoping this will have a reasonable price tag, otherwise you're pricing me out of the picture.

It looks like Stan has done a nice job with this razor. I have always admired his plating work, but in my opinion he is over priced. I hope that is not the case with this razor.

Looks very nice. I like the very clean design of the head and the handle seems to give a very secure grip. But as more people here, i have doubt if the price will be reasonble. Anyway i cant hardly rationalise owning more razors. Well maybe for myself but not for my partner. Biggrin

Judging by his other prices, I'd bet it's $150+ Sad
That means, no point for me to get exited over it.

I have heard back from Stan with the following info regarding this razor. Its made from a solid block of 303 stainless steel not cast
and weighs 100 grams and the handle is 3.5" long. They will be available soon on his website with a price of $185 including free shipping. I would like to hear what the testers have to say about how it shaves before I would even consider buying it.What I like about all the stainless steel razors being offered is the choice of manufacturers. Nothing like competition.

Thanks Jerry.
I am not surprised by the price tag. It all depends how it performs, obviously, before we even consider buying it. $185 , ouch. But then there are worse things men spend money on. $185 ... if it shaves like a dream I think I would buy it. I have to read a bit more about the steel and maybe you guys know more already and don't mind posting.

303 stainless is a lessor quality but still very good. 316 is marine grade and considered the best and most expensive. iKon is the only one as far as I know that uses 316. Weber is using 303 stainless for heads that are cast but their handles are 316. The Tradere razors are looking more and more like a bargain considering they are machined and very well made and shave great.

I will never own an Ikon. I'd love to, but never will - unless prices drop dramatically.

FYI... Stainless steel is not very expensive, actually pretty cheap...

24 You're safe here with us, Toby! Besides, we've all drooled over your SS razor pics at some point or another. Maybe you should be the guinea pig on this one. 24
