Nice try. Your logic was "it worked commercially therefore ethical critique of the name is not merited". That is false logic whatever you think of his marketing genius.

I didn't call him a marketing genius, all I said was it was a creative way to leverage the name of the original frag. I have no idea how many tubs he made, but clearly, the market disagrees with you, or at least the market that shops on his website.  People bought it for what's in the tub and/or bottle, after all.  If anyone actually bought the product because of the name, and it's potential other connotations other than his intentions that he wrote about on the site, well, then that's ridiculous.

Are we going to go after his After the Rain next? Rain causes floods, floods destroy houses.  Perhaps Sellout, because I've seen videos of Wallmarts that stampedes break out after toys sell out.
This is just sheer stupidity....

This is as far from tongue in cheek as it gets and you know it.

Exactly!  This is typical blatant straight-white-male-Christian privilege.  And let's not forget the horrors of clergy abuse and those Westboro Baptist a****les.  Talk about massacring innocents!  If you were being true to the ideals of our founding fathers - as Declaration Grooming likes to claim - you'd remember the Treaty of Tripoli which stated "the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion" and was signed by President John Adams.

Declaration Grooming has no respect for our Founding Fathers or the separation of church and state enshrined in our great Constitution.  SAD!
Waab, you're so funny!

Congratulations, you followed up your non sequitur with a straw-man. Meanwhile someone else on your side of the argument is diving into the ad hominems.
You guys are like a dictionary of logical fallacies. Smile

The name is not to my liking, but a lot of things in this hobby is not to my liking...  Shy

As someone who does not follow the latest trends/news, I found this thread both informative and amusing. You informed me about a release with an intriguing name and you amused me thanks to some exaggerating reactions.

I'm pretty sure the maker of DG wants threads like this one in order to attract more customers. It certainly served its purpose, to start a discussion about a release and increase the interest.

As many as it takes. Isn’t that what they do at Reddit, Joey?

Ironic coming from someone who frequents the Complaint Department at TSN. Why not just not comment if you don’t have anything substantive to contribute?

Pretty sure I've created 1000x more meaningful threads than you have done. Sorry bud. Try again.

Sounds like fuzzy math to me. Nonetheless, your vibrant contributions to the forum do not give you carte blanche to make useless comments in the threads of others.
