I have another work trip coming up and this time I wanted to do something a little different than my usual D.R. Harris shave stick. I know I can make a shave-stick out of just about any soap + an old deodorant tube, but I decided to repurpose a plastic pomade jar. I cleaned it out and checked the mouth width - 2.5” which is just enough to be usable during travel. In went some CRSW Glide Winter 2019, and now I can have even better shaves on the road. *Note: I left the label on the jar, as it declares the content weight - in case TSA gets nosey (they should enjoy the scent!)

Many pomades come in 3oz jars with a 2.5” mouth like the American crew fiber jar below. That would work well enough filled halfway as it would give you some working room. I chose a 2oz pomade jar that has the same 2.5” width because Glide loads pretty much instantly.

Maybe this’ll give some of you a new option as you travel.

Thats a great idea Mike. Being a big CRSW Glide fan I am definitely going to be downsizing into a smaller container for future travels.
