Turned this one before this mornings shave. I've been missing my big 2 band finest brushes that I PIF'd so I decided one more brush. I have a 28mm 2 band ordered for this handle. It's not buffed out yet and totally finished. It's a big handle. I picked up 4 more straights this week, I got to stop.

That's kinda the way this one worked out, I just woke up a decided I needed a handle for a large knot and didn't know if I'd have enough material to make a 30mm, so I decided on a 28mm. I don't use any measuring tools everything is done by eye. Not very professional. I have decided on a style so hopefully you'll notice that in the future. I'm starting to work on a second batch of handles that will be ready around the middle of next week. So there will be different colors. Don't hold your breath waiting for black or white handles. Truthfully, I'm surprised at the interest. I don't like anything that I make, at least initially. It usually takes me a week or two for me to think it's o.k. That might sound crazy but it's the truth.

I'm quite pleased with the handle that I bought from you Steve. Just posted the photos this afternoon BTW.

* Steve, yep, that sure sounds right what Lee said, the sign of a true artist, here. Wow, that is a beautiful design to the handle with great colour, on both of them!

So, if you don't do measurements no two handles are exactly the same. I kind of like that concept.

I'm not sure if you can get perfectly identical items using a hand lathe.
