I got a puck of CBL Tonsorial, which is apparently inspired by vintage Williams Mug Soap, and tried it for the first time yesterday.

Nice, understated, no-frills soap.
Simple tallow formula with very subtle scent (I got the "Money" variety).
It doesn't have the butters and what-not...but it lathers easily and does the job well at a moderate price.

I visited their website. I was hoping to find an unscented. Still, it seems to be something worth trying for those interested in scented soaps.

Hey Chaz! Their Granite is unscented, and might be suitable for you.

I bought one of these CBL soaps, and I feel like it was called Cowboy something or other...at any rate, it had a predominant scent of leather, and I found the fragrance to be distasteful...I didn’t even try it.

That being said, I think I will buy one of these soaps to give it a whirl since I didn’t follow through the first time!

I am glad this thread got started!

Yep, you’re right of course. Don’t know how I missed that, Matt. I was probably just focused on the Tonsorial line.
