Absolutely stunning. This is without a don't the most unique safety razor I've ever seen.

What gap wr1 is the Carbon similar to?  What about wr2?

While not Ravi, I found the Carbon Cx to be smoother than the Wolfman WR1 .61 gap.  I have 2 Carbon razors (original and titanium handles) and sold my Wolfman.  I will say the Wolfman was a close 2nd and excellent razor.   No experience on the WR2,

Looks like Carbon razors are back in stock

I agree. The Carbon is a great razor. It has a good combination of smoothness and blade feel. I use it with a different handle though. I’m not a big fan of long handles.

The razor is clearly a work of art. However, it’s my understanding that Damascus steel is a folded carbon-based steel and as such more prone to corrosion and rust. Have you any plans to implement a transparent coating like a renaissance wax or something along those lines to protect the razor?

Respectfully,

Jeff

This Carbon Cx Damascus razor was made using custom forged alloys of 304 and 316L steel, and not the standard carbon steel one sees in other Damascus products.
It should be much more corrosion resistant by virtue of this.

Wow, 316 L is very hard steel, so folding it in with another alloy is no trivial process. You’re very fortunate, Ravi, to own such a beautiful razor!

Thanks, Jeff.

I'm hoping Sean continues to innovate here.  My understanding is that he sourced this particular alloy from a highly respected American blacksmith, known for their Damascus forging.

Wow!  This item is important and interesting, Ravi!  Great to know the details!

Thanks,

Not meaning to be too personal but would you share a ballpark selling price of this artistic creation?.....I have several Damascus pocket knives and they are beautiful and costly but well worth it if you collect such things...you can email me if you cannot share this information....Thanks for sharing. Harvey
