I have been working with Vie-Long on a brush that will be exclusive to BullGoose Shaving Supplies dubbed the BG2012LE. The brush will come with four knot choices:
1) Silvertip Badger (25mm diameter and 50mm loft) extra stuffed for added backbone.
2) Horse/Badger Mix (25mm diameter and 50mm loft)
3) Horse Hair -Badger Imitation (25mm diameter and 55mm loft)
4) Horse Hair -brown/unbleached (25mm diameter and 55mm loft)
Pictured is the prototype for the brown horse hair brush. I have been using it for the past few weeks and find it has really good backbone and is a very versatile brush, handling both creams and hard soaps with ease.
The handle for these brushes is a hand turned resin handle that is very substantial feeling and that can go toe to toe with any brush maker. The handle on the production run will have a little more curve to it but this will give you a general idea.
I hope to have them in stock in about two weeks.

Thank you. It will also be available in silvertip badger as well as a horse hair/gray badger blend.
Beautiful brush but you said the magic word "silvertip"

I am glad to see you here Ben and look forward to your brush pictures.

I found the Zurito to be too floppy for my tastes.
The Sardinero suits my tastes much more. The shorter lost really helps.
However, of the currently available ones (on BG shaving), the Peleon is my favourite. Everything about the knot is great. I don't like the handle, though.
Looking forward to these BG LE's.
