Till today, I was unaware of this forum. It is a pleasure to be here. The colors and style are to be applauded.
I am on the high side of seventy and still enjoy life. Some of you know me from other fora. I enjoy all aspects of wet shaving except a dull blade. I restore mostly for my own use and 'cause I am too broke to buy really nice stuff. So what you may see in my posts probably did not look like that to begin with. I like to drive so most of the goodies came from road trips. The 'bay is a source for some of it.
I spent most of my life in design and prototyping work. I am fortunate to have a small shop in the basement. I love good coffee and produce custom and repair parts for many home espresso machines that are no longer supported by the original manufacturer. Orphan Espresso handles the sales:Orphan Espresso
I also try to make most of my restoration equipment and special tools.
I am happy to find you all and will be lurking and posting as the case may be any particular day.
~Richard
