I had gotten rid of all of my ebonite. Had is the important word in that sentence. M&F 2xl in Fiesta ebonite and Leo Frilot SFWS EOTYB3 brush.[Image: OsFW5Aj.jpg][Image: vYeXK0a.jpg][Image: peAmRXi.jpg]

I received a box last night from WCS.  I really wanted to try the Yaqi Knight Helmet razor head and bought a few other things to fill the cart.  My son liked the scent of Take-Out Night when we were at the Maggard's meet last year, but he chose a few other things instead, so I picked up a set for him as a little surprise for his birthday coming up.  I just needed a new alum block and decided to to try Black Ship High Seas aftershave.  I think it will go nice with my Irma Shave PAA soap.

Meißner Tremonia appears to have discontinued the Moroccan Rhassoul, one of my two favorite soap scents.
I found some remaining stock and took the opportunity to secure a paste and a soap.
I usually don't stock up but I really like this one and now I can enjoy it a little longer.

Yesterday a package came in from the Holy Black with a Valentines gift for my wife.  I bought her their Scarab EDP as something a little different.

Today the mailman brought a new razor to me.  I never tried an Enders.  I just have to figure out the blade thing.  I was surprised on the size.  They look bigger and chunkier in photos, but they seem smaller in person and rather light.  I always dig trying different types of razors.

Yep, the lack of blades has been the reason I haven’t pulled the trigger on one of these. Good luck, my friend Smile

Thanks.  I'm going to an antique shop in a few to see if I can pick up some blades and probably make a carrier for a modern blade.  We'll see.  I don't want to get too crazy but I'm willing to experiment.  It makes the hobby a bit more fun.  I am surprised after all this time, nobody has 3D printed an adapter of something.

Thursday night I came home to a package containing the razor I have been wanting for a long time - Schick's New and Improved Type F Injector.  I have been searching for a good useable example for some time and every time I found one it got away for one reason or another.  This one is in fairly good shape.  I cleaned it and then polished it some more this morning before my inaugural  shave with it.  It really shines now.  It was a great performer and very smooth.  It was a tad less aggressive and a bit smoother than my E2 and therefore I preferred slightly more.  Maybe it was just my first impression combined with the "Yes I am shaving with my Holy Grail razor" factor, but it was definitely a delight to use.  My only negative criticism is the fact that it is kind of slippery.  The handle grip is not great.  The razor was polished smooth and I used some alum to improve the situation.  Not a big problem to resolve.  I hope my future shaves are just as good with it.  It is a beauty and I really enjoy it.  I'm sure it will earn its spot among my favorites.  It already has a head start with one of the coolest vintage deco designs!

Received today, does anyone have a reference of this brush model? Year of manufacture, etc. It is a 25x50mm, although the seller assured me it was 28 ..., do you know this brush?[Image: ce20ff5f9059cc0894b4f9002fc8f06d.jpg][Image: 888dea50bb60632a228b8ec70e92c1ed.jpg][Image: 89dbfc08f2ee21544feeb593460605f4.jpg][Image: 3cf53764204358f4531f7d04ea8faba0.jpg]

A beautiful Paradigm 17-4 DE razor arrived today.  I'm looking forward to using it and comparing it to my Titanium II.

That looks like a Style 1. I think a new M&F Style 1 in size #2 would be 28, but the older ones from Rooney were smaller. That might explain your seller's confusion. Great brush. I have a newer M&F Style 1 and another one is on the way. Here is the one I have now (on the right) with its matching 2xl.
