Hey guys I have a question about mamma bear soaps and I was wanted to see f you guys have the same problem.

I have purchased quite about of mamma bear soaps and they're great products but I have sensitive ski and it brings out the worst. When I apply my lather it stings my face like the dickens and I was going to try krissy but anyway any suggestions what cause the stinging or what aggravates my skin in the soap ingredient

I have sensitive skin, too, I agree that it might be the EO/FO in the soaps.

I have not tried her soaps, but have always been disswayed due to hearing that they were heavily loaded w/ EOs.

I've only tried Spellbound Woods and Ye Olde Barbershoppe and both set my face on fire..so I ended up PIF'ing them out. I hear her essential oil scented soaps aren't as bad..but most of her best scents are fragrance oil scented and those are what light most people up. Unless you really like her soaps I'd move on, I always found MB's to be mediocre in lather quality and there are many many other soaps/creams out there that smell just as good and produce a much better lather, my opinion of course.

This has been my experience as well. Great scents but lacking in performance.

EOs are good in limited quantities...high percentages of some can cause skin irritations.

Mama Bear soaps tend to irritate my face as well, at least the 3 or 4 samples that I've tried did.

I have, and tried, 6 of mama bear soaps.
I have sensitive skin but they caused no problem for me, to be honest.

I don't think they perform bad either, i constantly get quality lather with no problem at all.
Since they are glycerin based, they don't cause dry skin either.. At least not for me. YMMV..

The soaps work fine for me, the only one that gave me irritation was the Ye Olde Barbershop, all the "Ice" EO soaps work fine for me.

For me, the scent is the irritant. I had one scent (Beau Brummel) which made my face feel a burning sensation. None of the others gave me any problems at all.

Only 30 of her soaps are made with EO. The remainders are made with FO, which is what should be causing that burning feeling. Also, excessive amounts of these oils will do it, too.

Way heavily overscented glycerine soaps. Burned me to bits and performance was average at best.

I had issues with several of the Mama Bear soaps about 6 years ago, but lately all is well. The Dragon's Blood soap irritated me very badly, and so did the Hydrogen, but the Almond scented soap, and everything else I have from Mama Bear work great for me without any skin problems.

The two types of Mama Bear soap that I had tried irriated the hell out of my face. I will never use it again.
