Hello Boys and Girls,
I’m Pete and I’ve returned to wet shaving after hating the Edge in a can and Schick 5 blade cartridges. In the last 6 months I’ve accumulated more razors, soaps, aftershaves and brushes than I could use in a lifetime.  My current favorites are the Blackbird in brass, the Oumo Frosted White in fan 2 band badger and B&M Beaudelaire.  Close second would be the Karve Chris Bradley, also in brass with 5 OC and CC plates.
Currently, I’m trying to use distilled water to combat my very hard tap water.  Apparently the local water boys can’t figure out how to get the massive iron and minerals out of the Mississippi River water.
I’ve also been diddling with refurbishing and reknotting vintage brushes, for my own use.  FWIW, when I’m not shaving, I’m fond of single barrel bourbons, BMW R1200RT bikes and golden retrievers.
I look forward to meeting all of you!
Pete

Seems I always like single barrel bourbon.  Golden retrievers...not every day...
I grew up in Minnetonka.  It seems like there should be a good barber/shave shop in the Cities?
