I know this sounds like a troll post but I'm dead serious. Was wondering if anyone here shaves their nether regions with a DE razor and how it is for you if feel comfortable sharing? If so do you also use your brush and artisan soaps? I use a cartridge in the shower but am wondering if it would be worthwhile to maybe use my Gamechanger .84 because it's my most efficient and would likely do the best job at whacking through the dense and course jungle below but I am a bit afraid to. It is also a razor I will keep forever so people won't be weary of buying stuff from me thinking I use all my gear for that purpose.

Nomination for funniest post subject of the week! I can give you a solid no to your inquiry - but make no judgments lol. Just please be careful in your pursuits! Maybe one of our esteemed TSN members can weigh in.

If you must do it then I would suggest the use of a Gillette Tech or something equally mild (!) I can imagine trimming the main bulk with a DE perhaps but the thought of dragging one over the scrotum makes my blood run cold... You Sir, are a braver man than I.

Thanks fellas, you are all my spirit animals. Going to mow the lawn with the gamechanger .84 soon. Hopefully it goes well. The scrotum & shaft are definitely off limits though.. not worth the risk.

Give a look at what tools many bodybuilders use (*hint: not DE/SE). They use beard/stubble-type trimmers to get their body hair trimmed very close - without the risk of cuts or ingrown hairs. Or you can ask your female friends for advice, they’ve been using cartridge razors to accomplish this task for decades (ingrown hairs and razor rash included).

I’d recommend a latherless cold water shave with an R41 and a Gillette blue carbon blade extracted from the back panel of a vintage non-NOS cartridge...

Three times last week, thanks for asking. I found it’s the only thing a DE is good for. Cheers!

I use the Game Changer for the scrotum only and a clipper for the rest. Just really take your time the first couple of try and you should be fine.  I've done this for the last couple of years.

BTW, with Feather or Kai blades it's a charm. I'm dead serious too about it!

GLWTShave! We all hope you only take off what you intend to take off. Please report your results. Just curious but my imagination believes that the regrow itch must be a b---- (rhymes with itch).

The rhyme with itch is the reason I use a clipper for the rest, but of course YMMV? Haha

Depending on whether or not I shave them at all, which varies, I usually shave them with a DE but have also done so with a straight razor. I now realize I've never tried an SE ...
Use a milder razor. I never use brush or soap shaving pubes. No aftershave either.

I take it, than an R41 with a fresh Feather blade loaded in is out of the question?
