I couldn't resist myself and had to buy this beautiful black S7 from Steve last week. Well, it finally arrived and the TGN 26mm Finest XH knot is not fully set into it, so I decided I needed to give it a good break in with some Tabac and one of my new bowls. It worked like a charm and felt very soft when I hand lathered a bit, only a few more days until Semoguetember is over!

Enjoy the pics!

Look at that beautiful color!

And the bloom shot we all love to see!

Nice brush, handle and knot..look at that bloom! Eyepop I love me some good bloom, I've been using synthetics a lot lately but I don't think I could ever permanently convert to them and one reason is synthetics don't bloom and never develop any visual character.

A few more test lathers and your face will really be happy to have that apply the lather! Enjoy!

Its set at around 50-52mm, I need to measure again as I don't quite remember. The knot was so over stuffed I had to sand out the inner rim of the handle to open it up enough to fit! 5 minutes of sanding and it fit perfectly.

Actually, that is just the glue. If you had a 13mm hole, it would have fit without the need to widen the hole. IME.

I finally used this brush this morning for shaving and not just test lathers and it was a real treat. The handle its very comfortable and I'm very impressed by the TGN finest hair, extremely soft but with good backbone, softer than my SOC even.
