Now here’s a little story I’ve got to tell
About some great Italian shaving soaps (creams) you all know so well
It started way back in history
With that Italian soap maker, L. Martelli
Sitting in his workshop cooking up soap
His stuff in the tub would later be dubbed croap
First came the green, and then the white
The green is well known for it’s menthol bite
The white is more subtle and kind of nice
It feels refreshing on the face minus the ice
Following the white would be the red
Creating another SAD (SCAD) that would need to be fed
The red introduced sandalwood and shea butter
However, some report the sandalwood scent not to be a strong as some others
Now we hear tales of the elusive blue
Reported to hit the shores within a few
The word on the blue is that has unique smell
Licorice or anise is what the rumors tell
Whatever you like, take your pick
Proraso soaps lather up thick and slick
These soaps have been tested, tried and true
The only thing to decide is which is for you.

Not so much talent...more the result of drinking a few beers, listening to music on my computer, while been on The Shave Nook, and having a profound love for all things Proraso...the worlds collided.

Can't say I ever put those two things together, but that was one of the best morning reads I've had in a while.
