What gear do you reach for when you need your best shave? Include, shaving soap/cream, razor, blade, brush, aftershave and anything else relevant you would like to include. Hope to read a lot of different but interesting answers. I will start if off.
Razor: Feather ASD2
Brush: Semogue SOC 2 band badger (have Taj resin and cherry wood. Love both)
Shaving Soap: Wholly Kaw Monaco Royale
Blade: Polsilver super iridium
Preshave: Proraso White
Aftershave: Wholly Kaw Monaco Royale aftershave splash, followed by Fine Platinum Aftershave balm after the cooling sensation passes.
Shaving with cold water is a must.

Lately (but it’ll change - it always changes)
Razor: GC .68 or .84 depending on how close I’m looking to get; or the ss Lupo.
Blade: IP
Soap: Shannon’s Nil
Brush: Elite Razor with 2 band knot, or Brad Sears custom Arley with Estate series fur, or Simpson 58
Post: Dickinson’s W.H. flavored with P-Red aftershave

All my gear give me great shaves or I wouldn't keep it but the absolute tops would be
Yardley soap
Personna 74 or Wilkinson Light Brigades blades
Gillette Aristocrat, Fat Boy or 40s era Fat Handle Tech , they're all great
Those are the operative variables, other things like the brush, aftershave dont effect the outcome, just the aesthetics.

The best shave I've had 4 years into DE shaving and 35+years of shaving regularly is as follows:
ATT H1 with new 7 o'clock green russian blade
Stirling 26mm black Finest Badger
ToBS Eton Eton college cream and brush loaded with SV Dolomati
I remember how smooth my face felt and that I had no stinging with the Razorock Son of Zeus AS splash.
