With time on my hands, I started thinking besides MDC and creams in tubes are there soaps/creams being created now in non plastic containers?

Most soaps are sold in refill pucks in cardboard boxes.

Just thinking about what’s in my soap drawer, LPL uses a metal pot with a press fit lid, and ASW soaps are metal containers with screw top lids.

Sebum shaving soap.

Beautiful heavy glass containers, and real cork lids with wax seals.

In addition to those already mentioned, Extro soaps from Italy are in a heavy, glass jar.

Klar Seifen come in smallish metal containers, their Dusy counterpart in plain paper.
Creed soaps have wooden bowl.
Acca Kappa: metal and wood.
Penhaligon’s creams in glass, their soaps in wooden bowls.

Other nice italian soap maker do not use plastic jars:
• Saponificio Annamaria (mostly aluminium, one wood), with beneficial properties of olive oil from Calabria
• FarmAsinara (aluminium), with Helichrysum oil from Sardinia

Both (especially the second) have great value for price.

Trumper creams come in metal tubes.

Edit: Sorry just re-read the OP and see you were asking for things other than tubes.
