If I had to field an MLB  team to play defense only, here are my picks:
1B - Hernandez
2B - Morgan
3B - Robinson
SS - Jeter
LF - Flood
CF - Mays
RF - Parker
C - Munson
P - Guidry

nb - these guys ain't bad hitters either

1B - Mattingly.  Hernandez is a great pick too. Toss up.

I would put Stan Musial at First Base and Ozzie Smith at Shortstop.
