My Occam’s arrived today, along with some Feather Pro Guard blades. Popped a blade in and took a shower. I had almost 3 days of growth. I did a 2 pass shave, with and across the grain. I’ve never been able to go against with DE razors in the past, my skin is quite sensitive especially on my neck. My shave was surprisingly smooth. No nicks, irritation or weepers. I am also pleasantly surprised by the Feather SE blade, their DE blades do not agree with me. I have a feeling my DE razors will be collection dust for a while. I cannot wait for my other 2 razors to arrive so I have something to compare with the Occam’s. My passion for shaving has been reignited with the SE sector. Looking forward to lots of good shaves and comparisons.

It's great that your first SE experience went so well.  As you experiment, keep in mind that the Feather Pro Guard is their mild blade.  You'll encounter significantly more aggressiveness, and potential issues, with the Professional and Professional Super blades.

The SE format is awesome. You might also try the Kai Titan Mild.   It's a very nice blsde.

I do have a couple of these headed my way from tryablade. I’ve never used a Kai blade. Looking forward to trying them, they seem to get excellent reviews.
