These will be missed, but I rarely use them so testing the waters.. Up for trade offer today are 2 Rooney brushes that are true collectors items. These are from the 3band golden era of Rooney and contain some of the softest hair I’ve ever experienced. They are 3band, so characteristically, they have very light backbone but are overly stuffed and extra dense which makes them ultra-luxurious, particularly if you are someone with sensitive skin. Knot measurements on each is approximately ~30mm.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!

They are truly beautiful brushes, and although I am a bit tempted, my stable is full with Rooney Finests that I don't want to trade.  I wish the seller the best of luck finding a good home for these; someone will treasure them.

I dare say that stable is the fullest in private hands in the world. There may be more in the Louvre.....I'm not an envious man but......

I'm not very knowledgeable about Rooneys so forgive me if I am way off base on value here. Ebonite 2xl with very minimal use for the Stubby. Recent vintage Sears collaboration brush.

Can you upload a picture of the other side of the brushes (ie: the backside opposite the Rooney label)?

Those are clearly authentic Rooney Heritage brushes with handles that Frank McInroy turned on a small, bench-top CNC lathe. They appear to me to have the smaller Rooney label.

Do my eyes deceive me? Are the handles an imitation Ivory with natural swirls or a solid Ivory color?

They have some textured coloring to them, not sure exactly what to call it, but definitely not solid ivory color. Smile

I realize you're looking for a trade, but would you entertain a $$ offer?
