I had five veggie soaps that weren't seeing any use (Plisson, Provence Sante Green Tea, Provence Sante Verlaine, Institut Karite, and Pre de Provence). I grated them all up and mixed about 20-30 grams of each together, I have enough for around two pucks if I press them into a bowl. I think that this mixture will perform really well because they are all outstanding soaps. It should produce a really slick and cushioning lather. I'll put some pics up of the mixture and some lather in a few days. It should work out great and I can't wait to use it, I'll post my thoughts on it, too.

Those soaps really don't match, talking about myself only. Not sure they will perform together as well as on its own.

It smells great. All of the soaps mentioned are subtle and light scents. The only one that I added a bit less of was the PS Green Tea because it has a bit of a powdery scent, I didn't want it to be noticeable.

I test lathered this stuff up today with pretty good results. I'll have a shave with it in a few days.

Here it's pressed into a mama bear's wooden bowl

I face lather about 99% of the time, since I wasn't shaving today I just lathered in a bowl.

Here is the end result, I lathered with a custom elk antler silvertip brush.

I'll keep on playing around with it to see if I can get better results.

That's some good-looking lather. And not a bad brush, either!

It sounds like a pretty risky experiment, but perhaps one with a happy ending. I'll be interested to hear more.

It's a very fresh type scent. I'd say that the dominant scents are the IK and the PS Verlaine.

I had my first shave with this mixture of veggie soaps tonight. I used my Semogue TSN LE. I usually don't shave at night but I wanted to get a shave in with this stuff before a whole month of shaves is devoted to sticks.

I lathered up with my Semogue and had my first pass WTG with my Red Imp. It was a nice and comfortable pass, but a little dry on the neck, I feel I should have added more water. I then lathered up for my second pass ATG and I now know that I could have added some more water due to the blade skipping around the neck.

All in all, it was a great shave, no irritation. I'm going to have some more test lathers with it and figure out the right amount of water that needs to be added.
