Some of you might find this interesting. A list member asked me the following question:
Tell me please. Is there any significance to the stylized Star of David in the Wiborg logo?
My response was:
The 6 pointed star was used in Germany in the Middle Ages to notify the public that fresh beer was available. The star was displayed in front of taverns. I would assume it is placed on the Wilborg family crest to signify that the family were once brewers.
