+1

The only times I’ve been motivated to reduce stock were:
1. When I had too many ”average” (for me) performing soaps
2. When I had a large number of 80% finished soaps staring back at me
In the first case, I sold the soaps that didn’t work well every time. In the second, I only used soaps that were nearly empty until they were all gone. Since then I’ve been pretty restrained about buying new pucks, although I do allow myself to purchase replacements in advance if I really like the scent and I think it might be difficult to come by later (E.G., CRSW Glide Winter).

I don’t know. Guys. All I ever had to do was simply point out the 2-3 dozen Aveeno creams and the dozen baby oils/creams. And the ~200 bars of Dove soap. And 8 pairs of flip-flops, 12 pairs of sneakers and 2 dozen or so handbags.
A few dozen shave soaps?

I believe there are about 50 soaps in my collection. I estimate that the net weight comes to about 12 lbs of soap, more than enough for this lifetime; and although I have slowed down, I have no intention of ceasing to obtain additional soap. I have never finished a tub of soap, and if I have learned one thing from this experience, it is that I do not need back ups of soap. No matter how much I like a soap, or how awesome i think it its, I do not need two.

Make it a goal. It’s a great feeling of accomplishment
