Saturday night my wife and I watched Downton Abbey reruns on local PBS. Downton Abbey's average USA viewership one year was 13.3 million. How many wet shavers out there among the Downton Abbey viewers? Or, how many wet shavers are there in the USA?

I’m a Downton Abbey viewer. Great show that demonstrates the value of integrity and honor. What an amazing period of time to observe.

Great show.  I started later in the series - goal to watch all.

The current marathon is 24 hours straight.  I need some sleep.

I’m not American.  I stopped watching Downton Abbey after Matthew was killed.  It just seems to go on and on ad nauseam: enough is as good as a feast.  I like Julian Fellowes‘ work very much and as an actor (especially as Lord Kilwillie in Monarch of the Glen), but I think he’s milked Downton Abbey for more than it’s worth.

Watched it religiously when it first aired. Bought the Blu-rays as they came out. I am now binge-watching. I am almost to the end of season 5. Two thumbs way up. Admittedly, it's a direct steal of the original Upstairs Downstairs. I love the BBC dramas. Cadfael, The Forsyte Saga,The Pallisers, Poldark, The Duchess of Duke Street, Thomas and Sarah, I Claudius, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, Brideshead Revisited, Smiley's People, The Jewel in the Crown, House of Cards, Prime Suspect, Cracker, Pride and Prejudice, Jack Irish.
Sorry to go on and on...

I enjoy most of the MasterPiece mysteries and settings from 1900 to current.  I watched Prime Suspect Tennison and bought 7 books by the author.  Mr Selfridge was also a favorite and well done.

Sorry to hijack, Jack..

Aside from the usual U.K. ‘silly’ programs that air on PBS, I always enjoyed The Avengers, The Saint and My Partner The Ghost.

Carry on.
