Since doing a trade with Brian (SharpSpine) for the 1438 and 820 I have become addicted to Semogue Boars. This is just the start, I feel a lot more heading to my den. I may have to add the two band badger SOC just so the boar doesn't feel lonely Biggrin

I feel you! I think I'll have one more on the way shortly too (Joe's Italian Flag 1305). They are some fantastic brushes though and I would highly recommend the SOC badger brush.

It is a beautiful brush, one of the finest I have laid my eyes on.

Thanks Teiste. I never thought that I would love boars as much as I do. I had read many post about how they have a funk when first get them (not one of mine smelled) how hard they are to break in, etc. I have found the Semogues to have zero funk, and very easy to break in. For me they are everything I have ever wanted in a brush, I just love them!
