If you were forced to only use one blade for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?

I think for me it would be the Personna Red. While it is not as sharp as the Blue Labs, Feathers etc, it's the one blade I can put into any razor I have and get a good shave. Blue Labs / Polsilvers in an OC really leave my face burning, the Reds do not. Conversly in the tamer razors I have where I use Polsilvers, Kais and Blue Labs the Reds still do a great job mowing things down.

While I never use most blades (including Reds) beyond two uses, I find them an almost perfect balance.

An easy choice for me: Wilkinson Light Brigades, smoothest I've ever used but sharp enough in my Feather AS and Wilkinson Sticky for BBS shaves, and they last for 5-6 uses.

Gillette Minora for me. I prefer them slightly more than the Gillette Black. They just give me the smoothest shave with no irritation.

Feather, so long as I could replace the used blade as often as I wanted.

Either Feather or Personna Labs/Meds. Those are the only blades that seem to work for me.

Astra SP. For some reason even though they aren't QUITE as sharp as some, they are smoother than anything else, and still give me great shaves in 2-3 passes.

I'd be very happy shaving with Voskhods the rest of my life. If i didn't have 20 more different brands of blades yet to try out, I'd quit looking.
