Geo F. Trumper has recently released two new shaving cream scents; Spanish Leather and Eucris. I received a shipment of the Eucris shaving cream on Tuesday and just had to try it.

Like the Spanish Leather cream, the Eucris is presented in a plastic tube without a box. While I would certainly prefer a metal tube and a box, I am extremely impressed with the performance and scent of this cream. It whipped up a lather very easily and I will have to remember to use less cream next time as I could have shaved three times with the amount of lather produced. Where this lather really shines is its slickness. I think I could have used a piece of broken glass and still received a nice shave while using this cream. If you normally use a pre-shave oil, it will not be necessary with Trumper Eucris..

The scent was also very pleasant and although not a perfect match to the cologne, it definitely compliments the cologne.

Phil, Definitely on my wish list for a future purchase. I like the scent of Eucris and have a puck of the soap. How does the scent of the cream compare to the soap.

I've been tempted to try this cream ever since I got the email from Trumper's.

Thank you. I've been wondering about this cream since I saw it was a soap. Always found descriptions o the cologne to be interesting but never had the stones dropping $70 on something I haven't sniff tested yet.

Phil, this is good news indeed. I love the smell of the soap, but the performance leaves much to be desired. Glad to hear the cream is both scented more strongly and a better performer

The new plastic tubes suck though, I always get more product than I want sigh. I hope they put both new versions in a pot soon, but I highly doubt it.

I am not sure how soon the new versions will be available in pots but, it definitely is in the plans from what I understand.

I haven't had a chance to try any of the Eucris line but the packaging is something I would love to have in my den.

Thanks for the review. I have a sample of the Eucris cologne and it smells very nice. When I whittle down my collection of soaps and creams Blush this will be on the list.
